I graduated in 2004 with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Electronic Engineering at the University of Surrey. I undertook a Professional Placement Year within this time at Mitsubishi Electric's ITE_VIL research lab. My final year project was "An Investigation into Object Tracking and Colour Variation across cameras", supervised by Dr Richard Bowden.
Then in 2004 I started a PhD with the Cognitive Vision Group in the Centre for Vision Speech and Signal Processing (CVSSP) at the University of Surrey. This was under the supervision of Dr. Richard Bowden with the title of "Scalable and Adaptable Tracking of Objects".
I worked on Human Action recognition in video sequnces for the EU project URUS using data mining.
